With less than a month to go before the Year of the Tiger, hotels and restaurants across Taiwan are rolling out lavish New Year’s Eve feasts. For those seeking a unique regional culinary experience, Lucheng Regent Hotel has specially curated a Spring Festival Reunion Banquet. In addition to savoring local Yilan ingredients, guests can also participate in a variety of festive activities and enjoy the heartwarming joy of gathering around the reunion dinner table.

The “Kitchen Tales Reunion Banquet – New Year’s Eve Dinner” launched by Lucheng Regent Hotel on February 13 (New Year’s Eve) features the chef’s innovative storytelling cuisine that incorporates the charm of Lanyang. Guests can experience the unique beauty of Yilan through each dish. The first appetizer, “Yilan’s New Eight Scenic Spots,” is inspired by famous local landmarks—including anchovy-inspired “Seaside Waves at Beiguan,” yellowtail representing “Sunrise at Guishan,” Sanxing scallions crafted into the “Beiyi Highway,” hot spring sponge gourd made into “Tangwei Hot Springs,” king oyster mushrooms forming “Wuqiao Forest Springs,” sakura-infused drunken shrimp as “Hanshuei Cherry Blossoms,” magnolia oolong tea with beef tendon creating “Taiping Sea of Clouds,” and five-spice squid fashioned into “Su’ao Mirage.” Each dish is a nostalgic taste of home for locals.

The hotel also offers a take-out New Year’s Eve feast that brings the feast to your home with ease. The set includes: Five Blessings Arrive (cold platter), Imperial Buddha Jumps Over the Wall, Fish in Pepper Basket, Roast Pork Ribs with Scallion, Sweet and Sour Fresh Fish, Scallop with Longjin White, and Eight-Treasure Glutinous Rice. The full set is priced at NT$5,888. Those who pre-order the take-out New Year’s Eve dishes by January 31 will receive two weekday lunch vouchers for Lucheng Hypermart.

During the Spring Festival period, the “Kitchen Tales Reunion Banquet – New Year’s Eve Dinner” is priced at NT$12,888+10% per table of 10, while the “Spring Festival Reunion Banquet” from February 14 to 16 is NT$10,888+10% per table of 10. Dine in the eight-meter-high International Ballroom and savor creatively prepared New Year’s dishes that blend local flavors. The event also features festive activities such as lucky red envelope draws and the God of Wealth’s blessings, immersing you in the lively atmosphere of the New Year. For table reservations, call (03)935-7733 or visit the Lucheng Regent Hotel website.
