The Beidou Search and Rescue Device offers value-added services to outdoor users, enabling search and rescue operations in no-man’s-land via the Beidou navigation system. The Beidou Tourism Device provides location services, self-guided attraction tours, city guides, travel references, and tourism spending tips for urban travelers. Meanwhile, the Beidou SOS service platform fully leverages Beidou satellite technology, using a series of Beidou terminal devices—including the Beidou pager and Beidou teaching device—as carriers to deliver comprehensive services centered around rescue operations.
