Imagine enjoying authentic cuisine with a vast, open view in the pricey real estate of Shanghai’s Xintiandi—that alone is the epitome of “luxury.”

The restaurant interior is predominantly white, complemented by geometric designs and stained glass rose windows, carved doors, and Turkish lamps, creating a charming space full of French flair. Aside from its beautiful environment and excellent atmosphere, Lakeview Villa is also highly recommended by locals as one of the top spots to enjoy Hucai cuisine. The restaurant mainly serves Huaiyang and Cantonese dishes. Huaiyang cuisine is known for its meticulous ingredient selection and exquisite knife skills. At Lakeview Villa, the chef not only showcases these traits to perfection, but every dish also retains delicate characteristics, with the added uniqueness of being MSG-free, artificial color-free, and bone-free. Because of this, each dish here goes through eight or nine rounds of development before making it to the menu.
