Jiajiang District is located on the western coast of Tainan and is a very typical coastal fishing village in the west. The Lin Chuchih Kapok Flower Path in Baihe was listed by a Spanish travel website in 2015 as one of the world’s 15 most beautiful flower sea walking paths. Every year from January to March during the kapok flowering season, it attracts many tourists to come and admire the flowers.

Mashagou Coastal Recreation Area
The Mashagou Coastal Recreation Area is located on the western side of Jiajiang. It features a vast sandy beach with soft sand, clear seawater, and no hidden reefs in the area. The protective belt of windbreak forests guards the southwest coastline, creating a beautiful seascape where the sea and sky blend seamlessly. It is close to Jiajiang Fishing Port and salt pan tidal flats, making it a great spot for summer leisure. Especially at dusk, when the sun sets and the sea reflects the colorful glow of the sunset, the view is truly captivating.

Fangyuan Art Museum
The architecture of Fangyuan Art Museum combines Chinese and Western styles. The front is a Western-style building, while the back connects to a traditional three-section compound with red-tiled roofs. The front courtyard is surrounded by arched corridors, with lush flowers and plants in the garden. Coupled with the landscape, flowing water, and red brick walls, the overall aesthetic is simple yet elegant. The museum mainly houses contemporary ceramic art collections, and it specially preserves the former residence relics of the old township head’s study room, including many precious old photos, old desks, vintage lamps, poems, and artworks such as limestone carvings.

Xiangyu Academy - Saline Land Cultural Museum
The Xiangyu Academy & Saline Land Cultural Museum is located in Ouwang Village, Jiajiang District, Tainan City. It was built with over NT$4 million of Mr. Lin Jin-hui’s personal funds to promote cultural roots. The simple and elegant white modern architecture conveys the vision of creating a cultural blueprint akin to Taiwan’s Guggenheim Museum. The museum houses a collection of Taiwanese literary works and art pieces from coastal towns in the saline land region, showcasing the unique and fascinating artistic aesthetics and humanistic charm of Taiwan’s saline literature.
