New Taipei: The 2013 New Taipei City Mountain Hiking Festival will be held on the 22nd in Wugu District. The route starts at the Guanyin Mountain Visitor Center, passes through the Forest Canopy Trail, and ends at Lengyan Pavilion. Designated guides will provide information at fixed points. There will be four departure sessions, each half an hour apart, starting from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Highlights along the way include Guanyin Mountain’s specialty green bamboo shoots, the Tough Guys Ridge Trail, and the Lingyun Temple, among other scenic spots. Free participation is welcome.
