At around 3:30 p.m. today (27th), members of the public hiking on the mountain trail behind Huaxia Institute of Technology in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, were shocked to find a woman hanged from a tree branch by the side of the trail. She had clearly been dead for some time. Police were alerted and have cordoned off the scene for investigation. They are currently working to identify the deceased and determine the reason for her suicide.
