The 8th “Taiwan Design Expo” is about to begin soon. Taiwan’s largest annual design event will be held from December 11 to 19, 99 (2010), and this year it will be held at the “Songshan Cultural and Creative Park.” Admission remains free, and interested members of the public are encouraged to visit.

This edition takes “Good Intentions” as its exhibition theme and features 10 pavilions. It allows visitors to not only appreciate the historic and beautiful architecture of the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park but also to see the goodness in Taiwanese design, the authenticity of the designers, and experience how design driven by good intentions can help care for our shared living environment. The content is rich and diverse, and highly anticipated.
This year’s “Annual Theme Pavilion” continues the spirit of the 2009 expo, inviting 51 designers from various fields in Taiwan to interpret the exhibition theme “Good Intentions” through their exquisite products, leading the public to experience the essence of well-intentioned design. In addition, Golden Pin Design Award-winning products, representing the vitality and momentum of Taiwan’s industries, will be displayed in a high-quality and interactive manner, allowing visitors to appreciate the excellence and aesthetics of these award-winning designs.

And every year’s focus of attention: the dynamic and passionate design community will also bring the latest and most popular creative works this year, which are definitely unmissable highlights. There will also be fresh design offerings from Japan, Germany, France, and the UK, giving everyone a glimpse into the latest global design trends. The exhibition hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays (Monday to Thursday), and from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM on weekends and holidays (Friday to Sunday).
