Authorities suspect it may be Xiao, a hiker who went missing on December 5 last year while attempting a traverse of the Nenggao Antongjun Mountain range. Due to the distance from the Ren'ai Township Ren'ai Police Station, reaching the site on foot would take one full day and night. On the 20th, assistance was requested from the Air Police Service Team to dispatch a helicopter, aiming to airlift the body for identification to confirm the deceased’s identity.
