On May 28, 2013, the “Discovering the Forgotten Wilderness – The North Face’s Eighth Route to Tibet” outdoor documentary exhibition officially opened at the Polar Bear Gallery in the M50 Creative Park, located at No. 50 Moganshan Road, Shanghai.
On the first day of the exhibition, nearly 20 media outlets were invited to the site to experience the mystery of this unusual eighth route to Tibet. The exhibition presented the story of this “wilderness” journey through a variety of formats including photography, illustrations, and film. Huang Chao, a coach from The North Face Outdoor Peak School and an experiencer of this wilderness expedition, was also present to share the story with the media and was interviewed by Shanghai ICS TV.
The exhibition ran from May 28 to June 11, attracting widespread attention from all sectors and securing continuous coverage in over 30 media outlets.
