According to Chiang Chi-chen’s office, after the flag-raising ceremony, in collaboration with the Love Mountains Association, participants will be invited to take part in an eco-friendly mountain cleanup. They will hike along the Beikeng Mountain Trail, taking in views of the greater Fengyuan area, making New Year wishes from the heights, and picking up litter along the way. This hands-on environmental action aims to provide a clean and pleasant hiking environment.
The endpoint of the activity will be at Biyun Temple in Gonglaoping, where local youth will perform rock music, and the Taiwan New Generation Saxophone Orchestra will play. Legislator Chiang Chi-chen will also join in for a short performance. Everyone is welcome to join this passionate, healthy, and energetic event to ring in the New Year with new hopes for 2016.
