Chen Longjin, Deputy Representative of the Republic of China to Korea, accompanied by Liang Zhaolin, head of the administrative division at the ROC’s representative office in Korea, today climbed Seoul’s Ansan Mountain together with Tan Shaorong, president of the Seoul Overseas Chinese Association, and other representatives from overseas Chinese groups and schools.
The event began at 10:00 AM this morning, with Gong Liancheng, vice president of the Korean-Chinese Export Trade Federation, who is familiar with the terrain, serving as the guide. Yang Cong? (name as written), president of the Hua-Han Tongxin Friendship Association, Yu Zhisheng, vice principal of Seoul Overseas Chinese High School, and Liu Junnan, an overseas affairs secretary at the ROC’s representative office in Korea, also participated in the mountain climbing activity.
Regarding the comprehensive renovation of the hiking trails, forest boardwalks, leisure facilities, and fitness equipment on Ansan Mountain by the Seodaemun District Office, Chen Longjin stated that it is truly commendable and worth learning from how a single district office can transform an urban mountain like Ansan into such a well-maintained space, providing an excellent recreational area for local residents.
Led by Gong Liancheng, Chen Longjin and his group walked along flat walking paths, crossed forest boardwalks, climbed stairways up the mountain, and eventually reached Wuyue Pavilion on Ansan and the beacon tower at the summit, completing a fitness and fellowship activity. 1050327
