Upon receiving the notification, they immediately dispatched an eight-person rescue team to begin search and rescue operations based on the coordinates provided by the climbing team.
Nantou County's fire department indicated that since the two members' altitude sickness symptoms had improved after taking medication, the climbing team will rendezvous with the rescue team along their original route and then descend together.
