On the evening of July 25, 2013, the second day of the opening of the Asian Outdoor Exhibition, the '2013 Sanfo Outdoor 'Measure the Mountain Heroes' Mountain Running Race' will be held in the scenic Purple Mountain Park in Nanjing. This nighttime mountain run around Purple Mountain covers a total distance of 13 kilometers.
The race route is 'Central Stadium ― Linggu Temple Scenic Area West Gate ― Yongcui Pavilion ― Huangma Trail ― Middle Ma Yao ― Yongcui Pavilion ― Linggu Temple Scenic Area West Gate ― Central Stadium', with a total duration of three hours, divided into male and female categories. All athletes aged 20–50 who are passionate about the outdoors and sports and capable of completing the full course may register. Minors under the age of 18 who are not registered professional athletes must apply to the organizing committee through their guardians based on their physical, psychological, and athletic capabilities, and may only participate upon approval.
According to race results, the top five male and female participants will be awarded, and all finishers will receive a completion certificate. The award ceremony will be held on the morning of July 26 at the 2013 Asian Outdoor Exhibition venue.
