Nantou: An 18-member hiking team from Taipei City recently climbed Gan Zhuo Wan Mountain in Ren’ai Township, Nantou County. On the 21st during their return journey, a 65-year-old man surnamed Tsai accidentally fell and suffered a closed fracture of his right ankle, leaving him unable to descend. On the morning of the 26th, the Nantou County Fire Bureau requested a helicopter, which successfully performed an aerial lift and landed at Ren’ai Junior High School, completing the rescue.
