Dafang Electronics’ own-brand E-Bike pioneer BESV unveiled the new concept mountain bike “TRB1” and the upgraded version of JS1, the “JS1 Advance,” at the annual German bicycle trade show EUROBIKE.
Dafang stated that BESV leverages core technologies from the IT and green energy industries, combined with advanced software, system integration, and meticulously crafted exterior design, to create top-tier smart power-assisted bicycles.
Following the brand launch events held in Taiwan, Japan, and Europe in 2015—which sparked sales booms and a wave of “light sports” fashion—this year all BESV models are back together at EUROBIKE 2016, each showcasing their unique strengths.
The JS1, having already won the reddot Design Award and been featured in the G-mark “BEST 100,” has now been further upgraded and launched as the JS1 Advance.
In terms of appearance, the TRB1 features a sporty, high-tension design; beneath its oil-tank-inspired battery cover is BESV’s signature concealed battery design. The high-capacity battery delivers ample power to handle any terrain. Its vibrant main color scheme exudes passion and echoes the rider’s ambition to challenge themselves. The mudguard design adds an extra layer of protection for the down tube and battery compartment while also subtly highlighting the TRB1 name.
Functionally, the TRB1 is equipped with BESV’s exclusive intelligent power-assist system, featuring a mid-drive motor that delivers continuous off-road performance. The suspension system offers solid handling and road feedback in all conditions. The new control display, paired with the latest BESV app downloadable on smartphones, provides smarter fitness-assist functions, making cycling more enjoyable and workouts more efficient. 1050902
