Miaoli: The Western Ridge of Shei-Pa National Park has been closed since July 2013 due to consecutive typhoons. After multiple inspections and assessments by conservation rangers, volunteers, and the trail adoption group, it will reopen on January 4, 2017. Entry permits can be applied for online starting at 7:00 AM on the 28th.
