Mother's Day is the biggest shopping season of the year in Taiwan, and department stores are gearing up to launch various promotional campaigns. Hankyu Department Store Taipei's "Beauty Festival" kicks off on Thursday, April 7th, offering shopping solutions for early summer needs such as dining, entertainment, and more. Shoppers who spend NT$2,000 or more on cosmetics and lingerie that day will receive a NT$200 merchandise voucher, and those spending NT$10,000 or more in a single transaction will get an additional NT$200 voucher. They can also participate in the storewide "Beauty Cool Summer Points Campaign," so ladies should seize the opportunity to shop.

Hankyu Department Store stated that during the Mother's Day season, on one hand, new spring/summer collections are launched, prompting consumers to shop for cosmetics, clothing accessories, and prepare Mother’s Day gifts. On the other hand, various retailers are rolling out attractive promotions, further boosting consumer willingness to buy. The "Beauty Festival" offers everything from the first wave of self-reward shopping ideas for working women, to the second wave featuring various Mother’s Day gift sets, pastry options, and dining choices. These include: 400 discounted cosmetic bundles with savings starting at 72% off, exclusive first-five-day-only bundles, Hankyu limited-edition new arrivals, bedtime essentials, top 30 must-buy star items, double purchase deals, plus-size options, new arrivals from popular lingerie brands, and clothing at up to 48% off.

In addition to the spend-and-save promotions, shoppers can also join the Beauty Cool Summer Points Campaign. Spend NT$1,000 or more in a day to earn 1 point, and with 10 points or more, you can redeem gifts (points doubled for purchases over NT$2,000 within the first five days). Special in-store events include weekly "Lady’s Day" every Wednesday starting in spring, featuring surprises like tarot card readings and magic blemish-lightening experiences. Regular “Beauty Kitchen” cooking sessions with guest chefs and “Fragrance Classroom” workshops allow women to feel even more beautiful and radiant during Mother’s Day.
