A retired teacher surnamed Li from Kaohsiung went missing on September 5 while hiking on Shoushan Mountain. His family reported him missing and search efforts were conducted multiple times, but he was not found. However, 66 days after his disappearance, his remains were finally discovered today (the 11th) by police and firefighters—but only as a skeleton. Authorities are still investigating why the retired teacher went missing during the hike, leading to his death.
