The "2019 Changwei White Dunes Land Art Festival" will open on November 16 and run until March 31 of the following year, along with the "Pobaoliuqing Workshop" event. Among the eye-catching works is the White Horse Secret Forest from the Fishlight Island Art Festival, which went viral on IG earlier this year and has now mysteriously reappeared in Changwei, captivating passersby who can't help but stop and admire.

Artists from around the region have been invited to create 12 large-scale land art pieces. Currently, two large land art installations have been completed ahead of schedule: the driftwood art plaza "Jialiushalang," created by renowned land artists Li Kuizhi and You Wenfu, and the highly photogenic hotspot "Pobaoliuqing," which has attracted many visitors to take photos.

The artwork "White Horse Secret Forest," which went viral at the Fishlight Island Art Festival, was created by land artist You Wenfu. This time, he used 100,000 white-dyed bamboo skewers to simulate the beauty of a snow-covered dune. There are pathways between the artworks, allowing visitors to walk through the pieces and stroll slowly among the thousands of bamboo skewers and surrounding trees, experiencing the poetic and picturesque artistic ambiance up close.

The large driftwood art piece "Jialiushalang" combines the wavelike landscape of the Changwei White Dunes. The sandy soil of the Lanyang Plain, known as the "Hami Melon Capital," is interwoven with local driftwood. When sunlight shines on it, the resulting patterns resemble the netted texture of Hami melons, creating a natural light and shadow sculpture on the dunes with both inner and outer translucency.

"Jialiushalang" also serves as a habitat space and will be used as a vendor area for a small farmers' market in the future. It invites people to step into the sand waves, watch how the light shifts over time, and experience the tranquility and boundlessness of nature. Additionally, during the event period, there will be lively small farmers' markets and engaging, in-depth crowd-attracting activities.
