The area around Da’an Station is packed with brunch spots and cafés. To cater to the hungry students and hardworking office workers in the neighborhood, businesses are really going all out. Recently, I passed by a simple and adorable-looking brunch shop and immediately added it to my list, and today I’m bringing you and the HowToTrip team along for a bite to eat!

Wei Wo Breakfast is located on Section 4 of Xinyi Road, just a few steps to the right after exiting Exit 4 of Da’an MRT Station. The large glass window proudly displays the adorable “Wei Wo Breakfast” sign, which is impossible to miss.
The interior has slightly high ceilings, creating a comfortable space.
As soon as you walk in, you’ll find the ordering counter. Along the hallway, there are some simple single-person seats—perfect for office workers taking a quick break to enjoy breakfast. Further inside, there are about ten seats, which seem more suitable for longer stays and chats.
The shop also offers bread that you can take away without waiting.
Wei Wo Breakfast doesn’t just serve breakfast—they also have a variety of risottos and burgers. Before visiting, I did my homework and was eager to try their Fu Yuan Peanut Bacon Cheese Egg Burger Box. As someone who’s obsessed with peanut butter, how could I miss this chance?
I ordered two sandwich sets along with a plate of pasta—and it was super satisfying.
However, when it came time to order, I ran into the all-too-common problem of arriving too late: the Burger Box was sold out. Thankfully, the staff said they could make me a Fu Yuan Peanut Bacon Cheese Egg Sandwich instead. I almost gave up and left without eating otherwise.
