During the Mid-Autumn holiday, the Chiayi Forest District Office has launched the “Bird Crazy Bike Day – Ao-Ku Autumn Getaway” event, inviting families to explore the natural beauty of the Ao-Ku Wetlands up close by bicycle.

The Chiayi Forest District Office under the Forestry Bureau stated today that with autumn in full swing, the Ao-Ku Wetlands, bustling with migratory birds and blessed with cool, pleasant weather, are perfect for outdoor activities. Riding bicycles leisurely through the wetland park not only reduces environmental impact but also promotes a healthy and active lifestyle for travel.

Therefore, the Chiayi Forest District Office is holding the “Bird Crazy Bike Day – Ao-Ku Autumn Getaway” event during the Mid-Autumn holiday (September 16–18). The event is divided into three sessions, each accommodating 35 participants. The itinerary features a route along the outer dike and flood-prevention roads surrounding the Ao-Ku Wetlands, covering a total distance of about 15 kilometers. It’s ideal for family bike rides and includes a park guide.

The Chiayi Forest District Office pointed out that this event is completely free and includes the gifting of exquisite commemorative pins and water bottles, as well as the provision of on-the-go snacks. Online registration is now open. For more information, visit the news section of the Chiayi Forest District Office website or check the Ao-Ku Wetlands fan page. 1050909
