The Northern Kaohsiung Family Service Center arranged a one-day parent-child experience trip for the families it serves. Social workers showered the families with love, encouraging them to believe in themselves again. “Heroes aren’t defined by their origins”—the message inspired them to create more possibilities and miracles, and to transform their lives.
The annual “Love Surrounds All” parent-child trip, held for families served by the center, is highly anticipated by both parents and children. This year, the itinerary included a visit to the Pingtung Aquarium and a meal at a restaurant, allowing families to bond in a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere.
The Northern Kaohsiung Family Service Center said today that the parent-child trip was joyful and heartwarming, with everyone enjoying quality time together. Social workers were touched seeing parents and children admiring the fish at the aquarium. The center expressed hope that children still in difficult situations who need protection, as well as parents facing challenges, can receive timely care from social welfare units, so that the children can grow up safely and smoothly.
Wei Zongyin, director of the Northern Kaohsiung Family Service Center, called on everyone to give and receive love. Especially for families in need who are being supported by the center, they require even more care and assistance from the public to regain self-belief. “Heroes aren’t defined by their origins”—let love surround them, open up more possibilities and miracles, and transform their lives. 1051012
