The adorable and heartwarming Miffy (Miffy) is deeply loved by fans. Many mistakenly believe Miffy is a Japanese anime character, but she is actually a national treasure of the Netherlands, created in 1955 by illustrator Dick Bruna. This 61-year-old timeless bunny has sold over 85 million children's books. Now, Miffy has crossed the ocean and officially settled in Bali Cultural Park to accompany children and adults in Taiwan as they explore a pure, innocent, and charmingly cute world!
Miffy Special Exhibition Gives Away Plush Toys
After the conclusion of last year’s 60th-anniversary Miffy special exhibition, through the coordination of the Netherlands Trade & Investment Office, it was agreed that some Miffy plush toys would be gifted to the New Taipei City Government. After obtaining the rights to use Miffy’s intellectual property, the city government has brought these Dutch national treasure-level cartoon characters to Bali Cultural Park, adding a touch of cuteness to the New Taipei riverside and allowing the ageless and universally appealing Miffy family to step out of the pages of their stories and meet the people of Taiwan in person.
The park features Miffy’s Dad, Mom, Uncle, and Miffy dressed in various outfits, divided into 11 themed zones. Each area offers fun interactions for families and individuals who love taking photos, enjoy solving puzzles, or appreciate nature, allowing everyone to engage playfully with the Miffy family. Through these interactive art installations, family bonds grow stronger, creating sweet and magical memories together.
Accessible by MRT or car
