Taiwan Tourist Shuttle’s Taoyuan Parent-Child Theme Park Line has launched an “Environmental Education Certified Experience Tour,” available for just NT$729 and including transportation, admission to Little World Theme Park, as well as a 2-hour certified environmental education course and a certificate of participation. The goal is to promote learning through fun and eco-friendly travel via public transport, with online registration now open and limited to 50 family spots.
Yang Sheng-Ping, Director of the Tourism Bureau, stated that in recent years, local environmental education initiatives have been increasingly valued, yet many participants in certified environmental education courses usually travel by chartered or private vehicles. To reinforce the concept of “environmental education,” the bureau has specially partnered with Taiwan Tourist Shuttle to offer this course, encouraging the use of public transport and environmental learning to support energy conservation and carbon reduction.
The “Adventure Around the World” environmental education-themed tour is priced at just NT$729 per person and includes a one-day pass for the Parent-Child Theme Park Line, entry to Little World Theme Park (at a special rate of NT$400), plus a 2-hour certified environmental education course and a certificate of participation. The ticket allows unlimited boarding and alighting, aiming to help students and travelers discover the unique local environmental features of Taoyuan through educational experiences at various stops along the route, all while having fun and learning.
The event includes morning sessions and free time in the afternoon, during which participants can explore Little World Theme Park or visit nearby attractions along the Parent-Child Theme Park Line such as the Qing Geng Yu Du Small Academy and the La Jie Xi River Education Center. Advance online registration is required. The first phase will feature two trial sessions on Saturday, December 3rd, at 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM, with a total of 50 spots available. Registration is now open and will run until November 25th.
