With the high-speed rail enabling a one-day living circle, it has become increasingly common in recent years for buyers from northern Taiwan to purchase homes in the south. According to the Xianglin Real Estate Research Center, the Taichung City Government is promoting the '8-Year, 1 Million Trees Planting Plan' to support the upcoming Year-End Flower Expo and establish Taichung as a 'Garden City.'
