Let’s go!Bring your whole family to Kinmen for a journey where you tell your own story. The county government’s Tourism Department officially launched today (6th) a “4 Institutes & 1 Garden” “Family Fun Travel – Discovering the Happy Kinmen” new travel program, taking everyone to visit the Agricultural Experiment Station, Livestock Experiment Station, Aquatic Products Experiment Station, Forestry Affairs Station, and the Botanical Garden, leaving behind unique memories in Taiwan’s happiest city.

With over 40% green coverage and known as the “Park on the Sea,” Kinmen is highlighting its natural ecological landscapes this summer. By combining agriculture, forestry, fishing, animal husbandry, and greening resources, the county has created an educational and entertaining family travel package, hoping to “bring Kinmen closer to everyone, help people get to know Kinmen,” and foster closer family bonds through hands-on experiences and nature-based learning.

The county government’s travel program includes tandem bike or bicycle tours around the Agricultural Experiment Station, making handmade loofah soap, decoupage art coin purse crafts, clay oven experiences, family-friendly clay oven baking, grass sliding, and the Aquatic Products Experiment Station’s bean art horseshoe crab DIY, horseshoe crab ecological culture exhibition, and the Botanical Garden’s spherical theater showcasing the beauty of Kinmen’s ecology, circular theater (Veterans’ Story House), painted egg birds, Shisa pen holders, leaf-print eco-bags, as well as the Livestock Experiment Station’s first encounter with cute animals, grass ball rolling, and the Forestry Affairs Station’s bicycle tour through the pine forest avenue to enjoy its beauty and stargazing activities.

The county government has also introduced the “Kinmen Family DIY Joint Voucher,” in collaboration with Lion Travel, Chan Star, Southeast Travel, EasyTravel, EasyFly, Xiamen Tourism Group, C&D International Travel Agency, and Fujian China Travel Service. Each voucher allows participation in one type of activity. If travelers wish to enjoy multiple experiences, they can also arrange them through travel agencies.
