The Taoyuan event of Want Want China Times Media Group's "Walk to Boost Taiwan" hiking series kicked off at Furen Ranch on the 1st, attracting 1,500 participants. This hiking event also invited 100 family members from the Heart’s Home Foundation Taoyuan Branch to take part, filling the activity with love and community spirit.
The Taoyuan event of the "Walk to Boost Taiwan" hiking series was guided by the Taoyuan City Government, hosted by China Times and CTi TV, and co-organized by Want Want United Insurance, Wei Chuan Furen Ranch, and QTV. As soon as registration opened, all available "spots" were snapped up instantly, attracting many families with children.
The event combined a visit to Furen Ranch, allowing participants to happily enjoy the ranch scenery along the way. Organizers pointed out that blue skies, white clouds, grasslands, and herds of cattle are the hallmarks of Furen Ranch. Hiking here allows you to enjoy the natural landscape. Additionally, Furen Ranch features garden landscapes in diverse styles, where you can stroll among plants and flowers, breathe in the fresh air, and relax your mind.
In addition to hiking, the Hulan Orchestra performed several classic cartoon theme songs and well-loved hits, allowing people of all ages not only to exercise but also to enjoy an exciting concert by a brass band.
The "Walk to Boost Taiwan" hiking series will host a family-friendly hiking carnival on October 27th at the Yunxian Amusement Park in Wulai, New Taipei City. There will be giant inflatable activities and live music—everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
Taipei Mayor Ching-teh Yeh stated that the "Walk to Boost Taiwan" healthy and energetic family hike promotes parent-child bonding and healthy living together. “The heart is rooted at the feet.” Through hiking, one can walk towards health, confidence, and joy, while also fostering good parent-child relationships. He expressed gratitude to Want Want China Times for organizing such a meaningful and healthy event every year.
