Yunlin County’s 9 tourist factories are launching major summer discounts, including free admission, buy-one-get-one-free DIY activities, free gifts with DIY, spending bonuses, and special promotional prices on products. Deputy Magistrate Hsieh Shu-ya emphasized that these factories have been certified by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, ensuring high-quality “Yunlin Good Products.” They are perfect for family or group outings and shopping.
The Yunlin County Government has launched the “Tourist Factories FUN Summer” campaign, running from July 1 to August 31—two full months to explore every factory and experience diverse industries. The county government estimates the event will attract around 30,000 visitors to Yunlin, generating NT$3 million in economic benefits.
Li Chun-hsing, head of the county’s Construction Bureau, noted that the 9 participating tourist factories include Maruzen Soy Sauce Tourist Factory, Tatung Soy Sauce Black Gold Brewing Museum, Sing Long Towel Tourist Factory, Fu Lu Shou Tourist Distillery, Yuan Shun Sesame Tourist Oil Mill, Morning Dew Fish Shop Tourist Factory, Taiwan Tilapia Eco-Creative Park, Liang Zuo Workshop Agricultural Cultural & Creative Hall, and Target Mille-Feuille Cake Embassy. These showcase Yunlin’s rich agricultural, fishing, livestock, and textile industries, along with their creativity and stories.
Hsieh Shu-ya stated that the products made at these tourist factories are all top-quality “Yunlin Good Products,” making them ideal for both family and group trips. Visitors can learn about various industrial processes, gain expert knowledge, enjoy hands-on DIY experiences, and purchase Yunlin Good Products as souvenirs—all delicious, fun, and great value.
