Summer’s here, and it’s time for family fun in Zhanghua. Collect stamps to win big prizes. For the first time, the Zhanghua County Government has brought together relevant departments to launch the “Fun in Zhanghua – Stamp It Up!” campaign. During the summer vacation, parents with elementary school-aged children are invited to explore as a family. Collect 10 stamps to exchange for a small gift and get one raffle entry – with a chance to win great prizes like a tablet, a bicycle, or book vouchers.

In collaboration between the Agriculture Department, Urban and Rural Development Department, and Construction Department, the event features 15 tourist factories, 13 recreational farms, and 45 unique attractions. It also includes police and fire department summer camps, as well as programs organized by schools under the Culture Bureau and Education Department. By visiting any of the participating sites or attending any camp session, participants can get one stamp on their activity sheet. The more places you visit, the more chances you have to win prizes.

Zhanghua County Magistrate Wang Huimei stated that summer vacation is just around the corner, and this year the county government has prepared plenty of fun and exciting activities for students and children. She hopes families will come out together to experience these activities, making the summer both enriching and fulfilling with diverse learning opportunities.

Magistrate Wang said that the upcoming 108 curriculum guidelines focus on promoting local characteristics and multiculturalism. In addition to language, the county government is also advancing local education that includes many aspects of the community. Summer family outings can strengthen parent-child relationships, allow deeper understanding of local industries and culture, and help instill the beauty of Zhanghua in everyone’s heart.

The “2019 Beautiful Zhanghua Leisure Tour” has planned 14 camp sessions, while various schools are also organizing events such as Sports in Taiwan, Character Building Camps, and Solar Energy Camps – totaling over 500 programs to ensure children have a healthy, enriching, and meaningful holiday.
