The world’s largest car rental brand, AVIS, celebrates seven years of operations in Taiwan. Upholding its service philosophy of “We Try Harder,” the brand has reached a new milestone. To thank customers for their continued support, AVIS is rolling out multiple promotions and new services this year. Among them is a Taiwan-first initiative: an international car rental brand establishing a presence on an offshore island — the AVIS Penghu branch. In collaboration with a star-rated hotel, AVIS has created the “Ultimate Summer Self-Drive Package in Penghu,” inviting travelers to embark on an unforgettable summer adventure with AVIS. Additionally, show your Uni Air boarding pass when renting a car to enjoy a 55% discount on weekdays and free airport transfers. Get accommodation and transport all in one go, and let your journey begin with AVIS.
Since officially entering the Taiwanese market in 2012, AVIS has continuously strived for growth and innovation. The company operates multiple long-term and short-term rental service locations across Taiwan and actively promotes distinctive vehicle options along with a variety of innovative services.
To celebrate its seventh anniversary, AVIS not only aims to enhance its service quality but also to enable more people to explore all of Taiwan. This year marks its first expansion into Taiwan’s offshore islands with the establishment of the AVIS Penghu branch.
Taking advantage of the upcoming summer travel season, AVIS has partnered with Pengcheng Hotel to launch the “Ultimate Summer Self-Drive Package in Penghu.” From now until September 30, enjoy a three-day-two-night stay for two people plus 24-hour car rental starting at just NT$11,000. For those only looking to rent a car, take advantage of half-day rates starting at NT$1,199 to drive a variety of models, including sporty hatchbacks, and cruise around Penghu’s world-class beautiful bays and natural ecosystems. Experience the joy of self-driving on this vibrant island.
Beyond great deals on accommodation, AVIS has teamed up with Uni Air to offer an exclusive land-and-air collaboration promotion. Show your Uni Air boarding pass when renting a car at any AVIS location in Taiwan to enjoy weekday same-day pick-up and return at 50% off, 24-hour rentals at 55% off, and weekend rentals at 65% off. Designated rental locations in Hualien and Taitung also offer exclusive limited-time deals: economy Group C vehicles for just NT$888 per day on weekdays and NT$1,690 per day on weekends. Booking also includes complimentary airport transfers at seven major airports across Taiwan (Hualien, Taitung, Songshan, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Penghu airports). The promotion runs until December 31.
