To help air travelers easily connect to ground transportation and tap into the self-drive tourism market, Mandarin Airlines has partnered with Zhongzhu Car Rental for the first time. Starting today, customers can book car rentals through the Mandarin Airlines official website. Presenting a Mandarin Airlines boarding pass entitles travelers to rental discounts—35% off for car rentals across Taiwan, regardless of weekday or weekend. Travelers can conveniently rent a car and start their self-drive adventure right after landing. Mandarin Airlines has become the first domestic airline in Taiwan to collaborate with Zhongzhu Car Rental.
Eastern Taiwan is a popular destination for family self-drive tours. Travelers can fly to Eastern Taiwan via Mandarin Airlines flights from Taipei to Taitung, Taichung to Hualien, or Kaohsiung to Hualien, then book car rentals at a 35% discount to fully enjoy the scenic self-drive experience in Eastern Taiwan. With the 2019 Taitung Hot Air Balloon Festival currently underway, Mandarin Airlines also recommends its “Explore Taitung & Ride a Hot Air Balloon” package—starting from just NT$4,499 for a 2-day-1-night flight and accommodation combo.
Mandarin Airlines notes that its official website offers a simple and fast way to reserve car rentals across Taiwan. Simply present your Mandarin Airlines boarding pass at a Zhongzhu Car Rental location on the pick-up date to enjoy the airline’s exclusive low rates. Zhongzhu Car Rental has 21 service locations throughout Taiwan, including Taipei, New Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung, Yilan, Hualien, and Taitung. The service also supports one-way rentals, allowing customers to pick up a car in one location and return it in another to meet various travel needs.
