Dubai to build 42 ultra-luxury floating suites over the sea! Official: They also plan to restore seahorse habitats

Famous attractions in Dubai are not only rich in religious reverence but also exude boldness. If visitors judge Dubai’s tourism industry by conventional standards, they will find it vastly different from other travel experiences—almost to the point of disbelief.

Dubai has always pursued a path of luxury tourism.According to the U.S. Huffington Post, a new architectural project was unveiled in March this year at the “Dubai International Boat Show”—the “Floating Seahorse.” These are ultra-luxury floating suites set to be built on the renowned man-made archipelago, “The World Islands,” with completion scheduled for the end of 2016. A total of 42 units have been planned, and investors have already purchased 35 of them.

The structure of these suites consists of three main parts: the deck, the sea-level floor, and the underwater section. Bedrooms and bathrooms are located underwater, and through panoramic design, guests can enjoy views of the vibrant marine life at any time.

According to a statement released by the Kleindienst Group, this project named “Seahorse” is related to marine conservation in the Persian Gulf. “We will create artificial coral reefs in the waters near the ultra-luxury suites to serve as habitats for seahorses.”
