? Night markets and shopping areas are now EasyCard-friendly. Starting today, Taipei’s Ningxia Night Market and Qingguang Shopping Area have launched EasyCard payment services, marking the first time small-amount transactions in night markets and shopping districts across Taiwan can be made this way.From now until July 19, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, visit partner shops at Ningxia Night Market or Qingguang Shopping Area, and accumulate enough purchases with your EasyCard or co-branded EasyCard in a single day to receive a consumption voucher.

A total of 40 stalls and shops in Ningxia Night Market and Qingguang Shopping Area are the first to install EasyCard readers.Including well-known spots in Ningxia Night Market such as Yuanhuanbian Oyster Omelet, Zhigao Rice, and Old-Fashioned Tofu Pudding, as well as businesses in Qingguang Shopping Area like Shatinna Good Food and Countryside Goose Meat, all of which now accept EasyCard payments.This not only provides shoppers with a convenient payment method but also saves vendors the hassle of making change while preparing food—saving time and promoting hygiene.

According to EasyCard Corporation, accumulate purchases totaling NT$300 or more in a single day using an EasyCard or co-branded EasyCard to receive a NT$50 consumption voucher. There is a daily limit of 1,000 vouchers. Purchases at Ningxia Night Market and Qingguang Shopping Area cannot be combined for accumulation. The vouchers can be used at all stalls and shops in either the night market or shopping area, but must be redeemed the same day.
