Pingtung's Colored Rice Harvest: The "3D Brown Bear Colored Rice Field" Resembles a Relief Painting on the Land

The once sensational Pingtung "3D Brown Bear Colored Rice Field," which caused a stir earlier this year, concluded in May. However, after more than two months of growth, the originally green colored rice has matured. Following the farmers' harvest, the 3D Brown Bear Colored Rice Field now presents a breathtaking relief-like landscape on the land—vivid and even more moving.

Pingtung County Government collaborated with LINE to create the world’s first "3D Brown Bear Colored Rice Field." When it was exhibited earlier this year, it attracted over 660,000 visitors and caused a huge sensation. The Pingtung County Government pointed out that the Colored Rice Festival put agriculture in the spotlight, allowing farmers to participate in promoting Pingtung together. With the rice ears fully grown, it is estimated that around 4,500 kilograms of white rice will be harvested after the complete reaping. This rice will be sold for charity on the LINE MART shopping marketplace, with all proceeds donated to Pingtung County’s Social Assistance Fund account.

The colored rice field has already begun harvesting the surrounding rice in stages. As the rice ears mature, the LINE FRIENDS Colored Rice Field takes on the beauty of an oil painting. After the surrounding green rice is harvested, the 3D images of the LINE FRIENDS Colored Rice Field become even more prominent, resembling a relief and presenting a completely different scene from when it first opened—beautiful and truly breathtaking.
