2 people can ride the MRT unlimited times for just NT$150—MRT introduces limited-time “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket” for holidays

Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation has issued the “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket” for the first time. From now until the end of August, during 23 regular holidays and national holidays, two family members—including one child (ages 6 to 12)—can ride the Taipei MRT unlimited times for just NT$150. The child rides for free. Tickets go on sale now at all major MRT stations.

The Taipei MRT stated that to encourage the public to go out more during holidays and spend time with their children in nature, it has specially launched the “Parent-Child One-Day Ticket” for the first time. Each ticket costs NT$150 and is available for purchase and use only on the 23 regular holidays and national holidays from now until August 30. In addition, tickets purchased on the day are valid for use only on that day and expire after that.
