Hong Kong’s “Madame Tussauds” K-Star Zone – Kim Soo-hyun’s Wax Figure Is Incredibly Lifelike

The Hallyu wave has swept across Asia, and even Hong Kong can’t resist the craze. Madame Tussauds Hong Kong’s brand-new “K-Star Zone” features wax figures of several Korean celebrities, including Kim Soo-hyun as Professor Do Min-joon from *My Love from the Star*, TVXQ members Yunho and Max Changmin, 2PM’s Nichkhun, and Bae Yong-joon from *Winter Sonata*. The specially created K-Star Zone is designed to give visitors the feeling of strolling down the streets of Seoul.

Located atop Victoria Peak, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong is one of the must-visit attractions for travelers who come to enjoy the scenery. The wax museum houses over a hundred lifelike figures of famous personalities, including Chinese actors as well as international athletes and singers. The realistic experience of taking photos with global superstars is truly exciting.

A spokesperson for Madame Tussauds Hong Kong stated that creating a wax figure of an idol star requires the team to conduct an in-person measurement session. The production is planned based on demand across all Madame Tussauds locations worldwide, and it takes about three months or more to complete the entire process from creation to display. Every detail, from facial features and expressions to height, is meticulously measured.Visitors looking to take the most star-like photos can move around to find the perfect angle where the wax figure appears to be looking directly at them.

The “K-Star Zone,” which opened at the end of April, features Kim Soo-hyun, TVXQ members Yunho and Max Changmin, 2PM’s Nichkhun, and Bae Yong-joon from *Winter Sonata*. By the end of the year, Super Junior member Choi Si-won will also join the lineup. The entire zone is designed to evoke the atmosphere of a Seoul street, where you can almost grab a cup of coffee anytime.
