Located near the Guanyin Pavilion area, it’s within walking distance to downtown Magong. It’s also close to the seaside, and from the back of the homestay, you can enjoy the famous sunset over Xiyu Islet and the dazzling lights of the Xiyi Rainbow Bridge reflecting on the night scene. The homestay features large floor-to-ceiling glass walls that seamlessly connect the indoor and outdoor spaces, offering clear views of the streets of Magong. The interior adopts a minimalist, modern style with clean, bright décor, incorporating elements such as stone, terrazzo, and wood for a harmonious blend. Muguang Zhi Ju Boutique Homestay
Muguang Zhi Ju offers two-person and four-person sea-view rooms. Owner Mr. Xu says, “Both the W and N series have sea views.” The rooftop features a starlight wooden terrace where you can overlook the entire city of Magong and Penghu Bay, including Guanyin Pavilion, Dacang Islet, and the Cross-Sea Bridge. If you visit during the Penghu Fireworks Festival, you can also enjoy the spectacular night fireworks display. Another unique feature of Muguang Zhi Ju is the standalone circular staircase in the back building, which offers different viewing angles from every perspective. The homestay provides comprehensive services, such as travel consultation at the front desk on the first floor and a high-ceilinged restaurant on the second floor to meet guests’ various needs.

Ziyou Ta Boutique Homestay
Situated in the heart of downtown Magong, it enjoys convenient access to nearby amenities. You can walk to downtown Magong, Tianhou Temple, Judao Star, and Guanyin Pavilion. Ziyou Ta preserves the original structure of the old building in its architectural design, incorporating safe and eco-friendly décor, along with imported handmade hand-painted toilets. The boutique homestay offers a themed boutique style, with each room having its own unique theme—ranging from Chinese style, Japanese, French, to local island themes. For meals, they serve Vietnamese coffee, along with desserts like black sugar cake, savory pastry, and peanut brittle, which are quite different from those offered by other homestays. Motorcycle rental services are also available to make transportation more convenient for guests.
