The annual "Guam Street-Closed Open-Air BBQ Party" is set to kick off with a bang at the Happy Island Special Zone in Dream Bay, scheduled to run from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on July 4. The Guam open-air BBQ party is free to enter and is expected to attract thousands of locals and tourists to join in the fun. The sizzling, aromatic grilled food will transform the Dream Bay area into a lively barbecue paradise.

In addition to mouthwatering grilled dishes, the event will also feature a variety of local Guam cuisine. The Happy Island Special Zone will be bustling with food stalls, art displays, cultural performances, and live music. A BBQ competition hosted by the Micronesian Chefs’ Association (MCA) will offer a total prize pool of over $4,000, drawing culinary talents from various countries and local Guam grill masters for a delicious showdown, expected to be the highlight of the event.
