Taipei MRT July Limited Edition!“Minions Painted Train” Spotted on the Bannan Line

Taipei MRT has rolled out a brand-new painted train again！With the upcoming release of the animated movie Minions, the Taipei MRT has introduced a limited-time “Minions Painted Train” on the Bannan Line starting today, which will continue running until July 29.

From the front to the sides and the rear of the train, adorable yellow Minions are everywhere. The film distributor has also set up a dedicated “Minions Zone” inside the carriages, where half-closed-eyed Minions gaze at you from both sides, while the floor is “crowded” with Minions, almost as if you can hear their excited chatter about riding the MRT.

The Minions Painted Train will run intermittently on the Bannan Line from now until July 29. In addition, Taipei City’s YouBike service has recently introduced a limited edition of 100 “Minions Painted YouBikes” for public rental, letting the Minions accompany riders through the streets and alleys of the Greater Taipei area.
