Light typhoon "Linfa" approaches Taiwan: List of closed national trails and suspended flights

Light typhoon "Linfa" issued a sea typhoon warning at 8:30 a.m. on the 6th. Given the approaching storm and in consideration of traveler safety, the Forestry Bureau reminds visitors to temporarily avoid national forest recreation areas, mountainous scenic spots, and managed trails.

In addition, to ensure visitor safety, the following trails — including the Jiannming Lake National Trail, Jinsuiying National Trail, and all associated nature trails (such as Dulan Mountain Trail, Maludou Trail, Red Stone Trail, Dawu Sea View Trail, Zhēnběn Forest Road, and Lijia Forest Road) — will be closed starting from the 6th. Visitors are advised not to enter these trails for the time being. The Taitung Forest Office also announced that all its managed trails have been closed and urges travelers not to visit. The Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Maritime and Port Bureau also stated that due to poor sea conditions, including the Taima Ferry and the Matsu Fugang Harbor – Fuzhou Mawei small three links route, services have been suspended on the 6th. Other canceled flights are as follows:

Matsu Fugang Harbor – Fuzhou Mawei Small Three Links: Suspended on July 7
TAIWAN FERRY: Affected by the outer circulation of Typhoon Linfa, the Kaohsiung – Magong round-trip flights from July 7 to 9 are canceled
LINA FERRY: Due to the impact of Typhoons Chang-Hong and Linfa, flights on July 10, 11, and 12 are canceled
