A new attraction debuts in October — whether it’s a wall in saturated hues or a dried flower wall beloved by girls, walls of various designs have always been popular photo spots. Currently, the most talked-about is the “ceramic wall” made up of hundreds of porcelain plates. With vibrant colors, diverse styles, and small round plates of various sizes covering the white wall, it offers a textured and soothing vibe.

“Qiaoli Porcelain” specializes in selling delicate Japanese-style bowls and plates. The shop hoped to create a unique spot in downtown Changhua that would attract out-of-town visitors to enjoy local cuisine and scenery, so they built a wall covered with over 600 porcelain plates in different patterns.

Attaching such a large number of porcelain plates is quite challenging, as they must be securely fixed and not fall off. Therefore, the shop carefully created support points by drilling holes in 50 ceramic plates, then hand-applied each plate one by one, reinforcing them further to make the installation more stable. The exquisitely presented wall by the shop owners is guaranteed to max out your camera roll.
