Busan Air’s Biggest-Ever Promotion in History    Round-Trip Flights for 4 Travelers for Just 3,888 NTD

As the MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) situation in South Korea has eased, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on July 7 that the travel advisory level for South Korea has been downgraded from “yellow” to “gray.” In response, Busan Air has launched its biggest promotion since launching operations: a flat rate of 3,888 NTD for groups of 2, 3, or 4 travelers.

Busan Air stated that there have been no new confirmed MERS cases in the Busan area recently, and the number of individuals under quarantine observation has dropped to zero, indicating that the MERS outbreak in South Korea is gradually subsiding. The Director of Health and Sports Bureau of Busan, South Korea, also announced in the early hours of July 8 that all hospital and home quarantine measures have officially been lifted.

Therefore, from July 14 to July 31, Busan Air is launching a promotional campaign titled “Strength in Numbers, Travel Together and Save,” offering a flat rate of 3,888 NTD for round-trip flights between Taipei/Kaohsiung and Busan for groups of 2 to 4 travelers. Travel dates are from August 1 to September 30. (The above fares apply to up to 4 people, excluding tax.)

Busan Air stated that since the MERS outbreak, comprehensive anti-epidemic measures have been implemented, including thorough disinfection of all aircraft, dining tables, and restrooms using MD125 disinfectant. Aircraft are also equipped with high-end internal air circulation systems to maintain clean cabin air. The airline hopes to restore traveler confidence in visiting South Korea through these preventive efforts and promotional activities.
