On July 14 at 2 PM, HowToTrip buses launched a limited edition of 2,000“Pray with Sincerity Classic Ticket Sets”created by Lu’s, including a one-day unlimited ride pass for the HowToTrip Muzha-Pingxi Line, a police station sky lantern experience voucher, a 100 NTD shopping district discount voucher, and this year’s special addition—a “3D Police Station Sky Lantern Postcard.” Originally priced at 450 NTD, the discounted price is just 199 NTD (4.5% of the original), allowing you to explore attractions like Shenkeng, Pingxi, Jingting, and Shifen all in one go.

This year, the New Taipei City Government Tourism Bureau specially invitedpopular illustrator Lu’sto create a brand-new visual identity for the2015 HowToTrip Muzha-Pingxi Line,not only giving the HowToTrip buses a fresh painted look but also personally designing the limited edition ticket set, incorporating famous Pingxi attractions to showcase a rich cultural and creative style.

Since its joyful inauguration in February 2013, the HowToTrip Muzha-Pingxi Line shuttle bus has been widely popular among domestic and international tourists, even winning the top spot in the online vote for “Top 10 Scenic Bus Routes for Travel” organized by the Ministry of Transportation and Communications’ Highway Bureau.

The “HowToTrip Muzha-Pingxi Line” passes through Muzha, Shenkeng, and Pingxi, offering abundant sightseeing resources along the way. Whether it’s natural ecological landscapes, old street settlements, coal mining history, or nostalgic railway charm, all are beloved by visitors. Transfer from Muzha MRT Station to the HowToTrip bus to visit ten top-rated attractions: Shenkeng Old Street, Shuangxi Entrance, Girl Temple, Jingting Old Street, Pingxi Old Street, Tianzi (Lingjiao Station), Qinghe Station (Wanggu Station), Shifen Old Street, and Shifen Visitor Center.

The newly added Lingjiao Station features attractions such as the century-old Fu’an Temple, the Tsai Family Western-style House, Lingjiao Old Street, the Lingjiao Old Bridge, remnants of the coal washing plant, and the Dalu Tram Track (Railway Track). The tranquil village atmosphere is perfect for exploration, and you can also try local handmade snacks. At the newly added Wanggu Station, you can walk along the Wanggu Stream on the Wanggu Waterfall Trail, enjoying phytoncides and diverse natural ecosystems.
