The Taiwan debut of “Eight-Colored Korean BBQ,” once recommended by Hong Kong media as a must-try Korean dish, is now confirmed to open in August in Taipei’s East District, with reservations opening from July 18.

According to the official Facebook page of “Eight-Colored Korean BBQ”,the Taiwan flagship store will officially open on August 1, with reservations for dates from August 4 onward accepted starting July 18. Reservations can be made by phone or in person at the store after opening, with phone reservation hours from 11:30 AM to midnight..

The biggest draw of “Eight-Colored Korean BBQ” is the opportunity to try pork belly in eight unique flavors in one sitting: garlic, red wine, pine needles, herbs, curry, soybean paste, chili sauce, and ginseng. The restaurant also promises to bring the authentic Korean flavors to Taiwan. As for pricing and the full menu, details have yet to be announced.
