Tigerair Taiwan holds a 100-person aircraft experience event; children board to learn about flight safety

Taiwan Tigerair today (July 13) held an experience and visit event at Kaohsiung International Airport, inviting over 100 participants including local travel industry professionals in Kaohsiung, Facebook fans, and teachers and students from Changrong Baihe Elementary School in Maolin Township, Pingtung.

The event invited 40 teachers and students from Changrong Baihe Elementary School in Maolin Township, Pingtung, as well as 50 Facebook fans. Taiwan Tigerair stated that through this visit, the public could actually board the aircraft and take a look inside the cabin of Taiwan Tigerair’s Airbus A320; at the same time, flight attendants introduced safety procedures to promote flight safety awareness.

Taiwan Tigerair also pointed out that to coincide with the launch of new routes to Japan during this summer peak season, the airline’s fifth A320 aircraft has been put into service earlier this month, expanding the fleet to five planes. On September 1, Taiwan Tigerair will also launch the Kaohsiung–Tokyo (Narita) route, which will be the third route originating from Kaohsiung after Macau and Osaka.
