The design philosophy of Hualien Taroko Regent Hotel is not about luxury, but rather a "homey" feel. The style is simple, unpretentious, and low-key, yet features thoughtful design elements in small details. The Wenshan Suite, located on the third floor of the guesthouse, boasts large floor-to-ceiling windows that allow ample natural light during the day, with sunlight softened by the gauzy curtains.

The Wenshan Suite has a spacious layout, using warm tones and lighting, along with wooden furniture, creating a stable and cozy atmosphere. For bathroom facilities, there are sinks on both the left and right sides, allowing two guests to use one each; in the middle is a bathtub equipped with bath salts; candles with matches are placed on the wall for lighting to create a romantic ambiance; to the left of the bathtub is a shower stall, to the right is the toilet, and further to the right is the dressing area.

Thoughtful touch 1:Offers unique and varied snacks.
As mentioned earlier, Taroko Regent Hotel is very considerate, preparing special snacks for guests. Starting with two bottles of mineral water — the hotel recommends using mineral water for boiling, and advises against using the tap water provided in the rooms becausethe room water is mountain spring water, rich in natural minerals and limestone, making it unsuitable for drinking. (Mountain spring water is also a treat for a relaxing bath)

There are three silver-colored cans containing loose tea leaves, from left to right: oolong tea, jasmine tea, and herbal tea; two black-lidded cans contain coffee powder and coffee filter bags; next to them is a teapot for brewing tea; on the right are three small packets of sugar, among which the blue package is a sugar substitute; the two opened packets on the far right, the left contains chocolate bars and candies, while the right one is a container of nuts.

Thoughtful touch 2:Wooden LEGO bricks, something you won’t find in other hotels, perfect for guests who enjoy playing brain games in their room.
Under the TV there is a coffee table, where you’ll findwooden LEGO bricks, which is the most surprising item here. On the left are local specialties such as "Amis-style snacks"; in the middle of the cabinet, there's a surprise — pressing lightly on the corner will pop open a lid to reveal sockets. It looks just like a TV remote control, but it's actually very clever and fun.

Thoughtful touch 3:Aesthetic and practical human-centered design with hidden outlets.
Between the bed and the large sofa, there is a wooden desk. Pressing lightly at the edge willopen a cover, revealing built-in sockets. If you’ve brought your laptop, this setup makes it very convenient for working on documents.

Thoughtful touch 4:Dedicated outlets for Apple users.
Below the TV, there is an outlet panel that includes a 110V socket and a monitor connection port. But if you look closer, there's a hidden feature — a switch you wouldn’t notice unless you pressed it, revealing a dedicated outlet for Apple users,providing image transfer and charging functions for Apple devices, which Apple users will surely appreciate.

There is also a public lounge area facing the Taroko Gorge, where many magazines are placed, along with Dell computers. Guests can use the internet, read books and newspapers here, and enjoy the serene vacation experience.

This is a guesthouse. In addition to the rooms, there are also public facilities on other floors, such as a gym, a yoga room, and a lounge where meals can be enjoyed.
