The world-renowned travel website TripAdvisor has ranked the best aquariums in Asia, with theNational Museum of Marine Biology & Aquariumcoming in at 4th place, up one spot from last year, making it the top in Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The museum stated that following last year, it has once again been honored with the “2015 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Awards” this year, ranking among the top 1% of attractions worldwide and one of Asia’s best, while also being voted the 4th best aquarium in Asia—up one spot from last year and topping the list among Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

The museum noted that TripAdvisor is the world’s largest and most popular travel review website, and the “Travelers' Choice Awards” represent the highest honor bestowed by the platform, with less than 1% of attractions globally earning this distinction each year.
