With summer vacation here, cities and counties across Taiwan are gearing up for music festivals of all sizes. 2015 Taipei Riverside Music Season
Event Series: Xikou Music Life Festival, Dadaocheng Music Valentine’s Day, Dajia Kids’ Fun Day, Crazy Summer Water Fun
Dates: July 25, August 1, August 8, 16:30–20:00
Locations: Songshan Xikou Pier, Sections 3 to 5 of the Tamsui River Riverside Park, Dajia Riverside Park, Dajia Section of the Keelung River Riverside (under Dazhi Bridge)

Yong’an Fishing Harbor Starry Fun Carnival

Location: Front Square of Yong’an Fishing Harbor Tourist Fish Market

Zhubei Summer Yacht Music Party
Event Dates: August 15, August 16
Event Location: Zhubei Fishing Harbor

2015 Sound Wave Tucheng
Dates: July 24, 25, 26 (3 days)
Location: Wushi Port Harbor Beach, Yilan
1. Free access to a 10-meter-high inflatable water slide, plus beach volleyball experience zone, fun market area, and children’s play zone.
The live performers on the 25th are Jolin Tsai and Xie Jinyan, on the 26th Chen F and the Formosa Aboriginal Song and Dance Troupe.

2015 Tainan Summer Music Festival
Time: August 1, from 15:00 to 21:00
Venue: Tainan General Fishery Harbor (No. 156, Pingsha Li, Jiangjun District, Tainan City)
Transportation: You can book a ride via the 55688 app; Taiwan Taxi offers discounted direct fares. (Only available for departures from Tainan Railway Station, Tainan HSR Station, and Chiayi HSR Station)

2015 Summer Kaohsiung Concerts
Time: August 8 and August 9, at 19:00. (Free admission)
Event location: Pier-2 Art Center Railway Cultural Park (near Exit 2 of Xiziwan MRT Station).
Lineup: MP Magic Power, Wei Yu-Xuan, Gentleman, Universe, HUSH, I Know What You Mean, Lee Jia Wei, Pony Chiang, Chen Yan Yun, and others.
