Taiwan’s hottest summer event kicks off on August 1 (Sat) at the Yingge Ceramics Museum,the "bicycle pottery wheel,"along with the wildly popular "mini pottery wheel" and scooter bikes loved by kids—perfect for family fun with "Joyful Clay Rolling Adventures"!

This summer event was meticulously planned by the museum staff over six months and introduces the world’s only four "bicycle pottery wheels." Unlike traditional hand-throwing, it uses pedal power to drive the wheel, allowing one person to pedal while another shapes the clay—suitable for all ages and exclusively offered by the museum. Beyond ceramic experiences, the event includes a "Ceramic Artists’ Holiday Art Market" and "Learn Pottery in English" on weekends, plus a food feast. On August 15 (Sat) from 5–7 PM, the "Love Songs by the Kiln Charity Concert" features performances by renowned singers against a backdrop of blue skies, green lawns, and golden sunset—a perfect early Valentine’s celebration.

The New Taipei City Government’s Cultural Affairs Bureau, through the Yingge Ceramics Museum, hosts the most fun summer event, "Joyful Clay Rolling Adventures," from August 1 (Sat) to August 16 (Sun) for 15 days (closed on Monday, August 3). With food, fun, and activities for all ages, it’s a guaranteed hit for families—and entry is free, saving you a lot!
