The Shangri-La’s Far Eastern International Hotel Taipei had originally planned to launch the “My Burberry Classic English Garden” afternoon tea event at the Marco Polo Lounge from August 15 to September 13. However, due to a significant communication error between Burberry’s fragrance agent LuxAsia and Burberry’s headquarters, the event could not proceed as originally planned with a Burberry-themed concept.

Following the collaboration between Mandarin Oriental Taipei and Dior, where guests received perfume with their afternoon tea, the Shangri-La’s Far Eastern International Hotel Taipei has also partnered with Burberry. From August 15 to September 13, the hotel is offering 10 limited-edition “My Burberry Classic English Garden” afternoon tea sets at the Marco Polo Lounge (38F), with each set including a Burberry fragrance gift worth NT$1,200.

The “My Burberry Classic English Garden” afternoon tea set draws inspiration from the scent and design background of the newly launched women’s fragrance My Burberry this year. It features an array of elegantly designed treats, including handcrafted trench coat biscuits, My Burberry-inspired fragrance biscuits, post-rain lemon mousse tarts, dewy rose pearl chocolates, post-rain English garden cupcakes, and classic brass-button cheese cakes. In addition to these sweets, there are also coffee macarons, fragrant apple jelly cups, and rose-scented muffins, along with two types of Marco Polo Italian savory items. Guests may also choose from a selection of premium teas. The price starts from NT$880 + 10% per person (minimum order for two people).
